TYPUS maps
The Creative Europe project TYPUS-Transforming Young People Using Shakespeare (2022-2024) promotes Shakespearean theatre as a tool to support the reintegration into society of young people living in conditions of disadvantage or marginalisation. In particular, TYPUS involves the development of innovative and multidisciplinary theatre workshops based on William Shakespeare’s tragedy Romeo and Juliet. This website documents each project activity with two maps. The first map, R&J Underground, takes you on a journey through William Shakespeare's tragedy Romeo and Juliet. You can follow the actions of the characters you are most interested in or follow the whole play scene by scene. The R&J map is accompanied by the BACKSTAGE Underground map which allows you to discover the path taken with insights that will help you to get to know the protagonists of the TYPUS project Transforming Young People Using Shakespeare.
